Is the Toolbox PDF editor free?

Yes. It works on the free plan with a few limits, and you sign in with Google or your email, with no card. Are my PDFs uploaded to a server?

No. PDFs are opened and edited in your browser and stay on your computer, unless you choose to save them to your Toolbox cloud.

Can I sign a PDF?

Yes, with Toolbox Pro: draw, type or upload your signature and place it on any page.

Is it a Smallpdf alternative?

For editing, signing, merging, compressing and converting PDFs, yes. Our Toolbox vs Smallpdf page compares them feature by feature.
