Switching from Bitly?

Bring what you have

Your links with their titles. Custom back-halves become your Toolbox short codes where they're free to use.

  1. In Bitly, open Links and choose Export. Bitly offers export on some paid plans.
  2. Bitly emails you a CSV file (a selection of up to 100 links downloads straight away). Download it.
  3. In Toolbox, open Links on the web, press Import and drop the CSV. Check the preview, then import.
  4. Download the results file: each Bitly link next to its new Toolbox link, so you can update the places you shared them.
Import from Bitly You'll see what comes over before anything is added.

Questions

Something else? Write to us from the Support link below.

Is Toolbox cheaper than Bitly?

Not on its own: Bitly Core works out to less a month, though it's billed a year at a time. Toolbox pays off when you also pay for a screen recorder, a PDF editor, a screenshot tool or a text expander. Put your own numbers in the calculator above.

Do my short links stop working if I cancel?

No. Short links you've already made keep redirecting after your subscription ends.

Can I use my own domain?

Not today. Toolbox links use the Toolbox domain. If a branded domain matters to you, Bitly offers one on its Growth plan.

Is Toolbox free?

Yes. Every tool works on the free plan, with a few limits. Premium removes the limits and adds features like full-page captures and cloud storage, for every tool at once. Pro adds signatures, Office conversions and bookmark cleanups on top. You only add a card if you decide to upgrade.

Try it before you cancel anything.
